   IDI NAMES NEW NORTHEAST MARKET OFFICER
IDI Logistics has named Justin Burns as its new market officer for its Northeast portfolio.
The industrial developer and manager said Burns, who will be based in New Jersey, will be
responsible
for acquiring
land sites,
developing high-
end logistics
facilities and all
leasing and asset
management
across the
Northeast. He comes to the position with eight years of investment and asset management experience
and will spearhead a territory that includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the Baltimore- Washington D.C. corridor.
“The Northeast logistics markets
are some of the strongest in the U.S.
in terms of rent growth and user demand,” said Mark Saturno, CEO of IDI Logistics. “Justin’s market expertise will help IDI expand our presence in these important logistics hubs.”
Prior to IDI Logistics, Burns served as vice president of acquisitions at Penwood Real Estate Investment Management and as an acquisitions officer at Exeter Property Group. During his career, he has transacted roughly $1.5 billion of industrial, office and land investments.
Burns holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the Quinnipiac University School of Business.

of Eddie Rivera, who returns to
the accounting, tax and business advisory firm after starting his career there.
Rivera, who rejoins the Parsippany- based practice as a partner, brings more than 15 years of experience
in public accounting, tax and advisory services. He specializes in supporting clients in the real estate and construction industry and will work with the firm’s clients on ensuring they are compliant with the latest tax laws, maximizing tax strategies, advising on the impact of proposed transactions and the effect of changing regulations on client cash flow and profitability.

Genova Burns LLC has hired Emily K. Montagna as an associate in its real estate practice group, in one of two newly announced hires for the Newark-based law firm.
In a news release, the practice
said Montagna joins the real estate team after serving as a judicial
law clerk for Judge Linda Lordi Cavanaugh, sitting in Newark, in the Superior Court’s Family Division. She received her juris doctor
degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as associate editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review as well as a member of the Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic.

Rivera began his career in the real estate and construction practice of what was then known as Sax, Macy, Fromm, according to a news release. He has since served as the vice president of accounting and taxation at Kushner Cos., but most recently was a partner in the real estate group of a Top 25 accounting firm.
“It’s great to be back at Sax where my career began and flourished,” Rivera said. “The relationships I made during my original tenure along with all the expertise I gained made coming back an easy decision.
