Prior to joining MSW, she spent time at two prominent New Jersey law firms, while in 2008 she became the first female attorney in the state to become accredited under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
Additionally, Lomelo was named in 2018 to the New Leaders of the Bar
list by the New Jersey Law Journal and from 2010 to 2018 to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, MSW
said. She received her bachelor’s in biochemical engineering from Rutgers University and her juris doctorate from Seton Hall University, having served as a law clerk to Superior Court Judge Camille M. Kenny.
Lomelo is admitted to the New Jersey and New York bars and the bar of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
Burke, meantime, has joined MSW as an associate and will focus her practice on commercial real estate and financing matters, the news release said. In the new role, she will support the firm’s transactional real estate practices, representing clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of real estate assets such as industrial, office, retail, medical and multifamily properties.
In addition, Burke will represent lenders and borrowers in connection with the negotiation of commercial mortgage and construction loans. Prior to joining the firm, she was
a senior paralegal at an AM50 law firm, where she handled a variety
of complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the country.
Burke received her law degree from Rutgers Law School-Newark, where she was the recipient of the Kenneth G. Wolfson Land Use Prize, and obtained her master’s in forensic
psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In 2006, she

Bergman Real Estate Group has hired longtime commercial real estate executive Jeffrey Buchman as its new chief operating officer.
In his role with the Woodbridge-based firm, Buchman will be responsible

He holds a bachelor’s in corporate finance and business from American University and received his New Jersey Real Estate License in 1988.
