RELOCATION EXPERT
FOLEY JOINS CRESA
NEW JERSEY TEAM
Veteran broker and corporate
relocation expert Dan Foley has
joined Cresa’s New Jersey team,
where he’ll serve large offi ce and
industrial clients throughout the
Northeast corridor.
Foley, who joins the tenant
representation fi rm from Savills,
will serve as a managing principal
in Cresa’s Rutherford offi ce. The
company announced the move
while describing Foley as a prolifi c
dealmaker, citing his role in major
corporate leases such as the
New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s
210,000-square-foot commitment in
Woodbridge and Eisai Co. Ltd.’s move
to a 335,000-square-foot space in
Nutley.
Over the years, Foley has also
represented International Paper in
more than 9 million square feet of
deals throughout the U.S.
“Adding a powerhouse like Dan to
our team elevates our capabilities
and deepens our market expertise,”
Cresa President Greg Schementi said.

recipient of industry awards such
as the Society of Industrial and
Offi ce Realtors’ Largest Offi ce
Lease for New Jersey, for both John
Wiley & Sons’ 386,400-square-foot
headquarters lease in Hoboken and
the New Jersey Turnpike Authority
deal, along with NAIOP New Jersey’s
Deal of the Year for Eisai’s move to
Nutley.

formed division focused on value-add

end, to support its development
pipeline and new ventures. As
principal of Woodmont Value-Add
Partners, he’ll be integral to the
company’s investment strategy,
capital raising, acquisitions and
investor relations, while he’ll play
a central role in strategy, long-term
growth and innovation as a member
of Woodmont’s executive and
investment committees.
The Fairfi eld-based fi rm owns,
develops and manages multifamily and
industrial properties across fi ve states.
“As we strengthen our operations
and position Woodmont for future
success, we’re pleased to welcome
Jon to our team,” CEO Eric Witmondt

Moore most recently was president
of Urby, a joint venture of Brookfi eld
and Urby Management, where he
led the company’s growth from
three assets in the Northeast into a
nationally recognized platform with

a diversifi ed geographic and capital
base, according to a news release.
He also spent more than a decade
at Brookfi eld Properties as chief
investment offi cer for its multifamily
group and mixed-use development
business, overseeing more than $40
billion in transactions.
Highlights of Moore’s tenure
included Brookfi eld’s investment
in Fairfi eld Residential, real estate
investment trust privatizations such
as Associated Estates and Forest City,
the acquisition of two large Class B
apartment portfolios in the Southeast,
a value-add housing portfolio in
Upper Manhattan and the Greenpoint
Landing development in Brooklyn.
“Over the past 22 years, I’ve had the
pleasure of being part of Woodmont’s
remarkable evolution from a
35-person team to a national, multi-
asset developer with an exceptional
over 200-person team,” Trager said.
“Jon is an unparalleled professional
and I’m confi dent he will help lead
our team’s continued growth and
prosperity as co-chief investment
offi cer and principal of Woodmont
Value-Add Partners.
“I look forward to working closely
with him to facilitate a seamless
transition of responsibilities ahead of
my retirement at the end of the year

Moore is currently an adviser to
Ori Systems, a Khosla Ventures and
Google VC portfolio company, and
a member of Urban Land Institute’s
Multifamily Council and the National
Multifamily Housing Council, the
news release said. He served on the
investment committees and board
of directors for Fairfi eld Residential
and its three value-add funds, as well
as the board of advisers for New
York University’s Furman Center for
Housing.
He holds an MBA in fi nance from
Fordham University’s Gabelli School
of Business, a real estate degree from
New York University and a bachelor’s
from Muhlenberg College.
Woodmont noted Trager has been
a partner and integral member
of its executive team for more
than two decades, having played
an instrumental role in the
company’s success and growth. His
contributions include the acquisition
and development of multifamily
and industrial properties, the
advancement of lending and equity
relationships and geographical
expansion.
