She joins Denholtz from Mutual of
America Financial Group, a New
York City-based retirement services
company, where she served as senior
human resources business partner,
according to a news release. Over
her 15-year tenure, Doyle led the
transformation of the company’s
HR systems and implemented new
strategies designed to enhance
employee engagement, performance
management and operational
effectiveness.

HR strategies that strengthen

SHIFF JOINS STRO
AS CHIEF OPERATING
OFFICER
The STRO Cos. has tapped longtime
commercial real estate executive
Gabriel Shiff as
its new chief
operating offi cer,
the Ridgewood-
based fi rm
announced.
The company,
part of the
Gabriel Shiff
Millstein family
offi ce, said
Shiff will leverage his 25 years of
industry experience to oversee and
enhance all elements of its real estate
platform. That includes taking a
leadership role in directing STRO’s
acquisitions, capital markets, leasing,
accounting and fi nance, construction
and development and asset and
property management functions and
initiatives.
He’ll do so in tandem with Steven
Millstein, STRO’s founder and
principal, to enhance the value of its
existing properties, grow the portfolio
in its existing markets and expand
into new ones in the Southeast.
“I am excited by the opportunity to
work alongside Steve and STRO’s
talented team of professionals
to grow the company’s portfolio
and drive continued operational
excellence,” Shiff said.
The veteran industry executive is
the former chief operating offi cer
and chief investment offi cer at the
former Roseland Property Co., which
became the residential platform of
Mack-Cali Realty Corp. and later Veris
Residential Inc. During his tenure,
he led Roseland’s growth from seven
to 24 operating assets, exponentially
increasing average ownership and
net operating income while executing
more than $3 billion in acquisitions
and dispositions and more than $4
billion in debt fi nancing and equity
raises, STRO said.
Before his role at Roseland, Shiff
was an analyst at The Bear Stearns
Cos.’ real estate, gaming and
lodging investment banking group,
according to a news release. He
holds a bachelor’s in fi nance from the
Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania.

our STRO team,” Millstein said.
“He brings a wealth of knowledge
and resources and has signifi cant
experience with institutional equity
recapitalizations and raises, which
is something our family’s next
generation is interested in pursuing.
His experience and mentoring of our
