A private business has acquired a nearly 9,000-square-foot commercial property in Freehold for $3.7 million, brokers with Sheldon Gross Realty announced Monday.
According to a news release, the building at 195 Throckmorton St. sits on 1.65 acres and includes 4,600 square feet of office space, a 4,200-square-foot warehouse and a garage. The new owner plans to use the location, which also has outside storage, as a business office and for storing generators and commercial vehicles.
Sheldon Gross Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Corporate Sales Representative Joshua Glussky represented the seller. Michael Witko of Chilmark Real Estate Services represented the buyer.
“This property is pretty much one of a kind,” Glick said. “It’s extremely rare to find this much office space, warehousing, a garage and then outdoor storage all on a single site. And in an extremely desirable geographic location, too.”
