Michael Wills

The Garibaldi Group’s newest broker has inked his first two deals for the firm, completing office leases in May that allowed two clients to find new space in Morris County.
In the larger deal, Michael Wills teamed with TGG’s Brian Cass to secure space in Florham Park on behalf of Link High Technology, an IT service provider. In Randolph, the newly hired associate worked with the firm’s Jackie Madden to arrange a lease for Prasada In Home, a therapeutic care, counseling and coaching organization focused on empowering the lives of adults and children with mental health and behavioral challenges.
The transactions mark a milestone for Wills, who started a career in commercial real estate six months before the COVID pandemic, only to be diagnosed with brain cancer in May 2020. After taking an 18-month hiatus to receive treatment, he returned to the business earlier this year when he joined The Garibaldi Group.
“Michael is one of the most dedicated and hardworking brokers I have come across during my tenure in the business,” said Jeffrey Garibaldi Jr., president of the Chatham-based firm. “He is determined to create a career for himself in commercial real estate, and his hurdles to this point have only served to cement his dedication further. We could not be happier to see Michael begin to reap the fruits of his labor.”
In a news release, TGG said Link High Technology is taking space in Florham Park under a lease with Eastman Cos. The firm and its more than dozen employees will move to 23 Vreeland Road this fall after the deal arranged by Wills and Cass, a director with TGG.
“We knew pretty early on that 23 Vreeland Road was the right fit for our team,” said Victor W. Liu, president of Link High Technologies. “The team at Eastman Companies, especially Eric Mauer, were a pleasure to deal with and we are very excited to call our new space home.”
Wills and Madden, also a director with TGG, represented Prasada In Home to secure its new 1,580-square-foot home at 1247 Sussex Turnpike in Randolph. Currently based in Mount Arlington, the organization will use the space to grow its footprint in western Morris County, the first expansion of its kind.
Lee & Associates New Jersey Director Suzanne Kiall and Associate Broker Jesse Unger represented ownership in the medical office deal.
“As a young broker in this industry, I felt oddly akin to the team at Prasada In Home because we were each helping one another during a critical stage of growth for our businesses,” Wills said. “I was blessed to have a tremendous team behind me at Garibaldi, with experience that I could lean on and learn from. I also had a great team representing the building in Susan and Jesse who helped me provide Prasada with all the time they needed to make the ultimate decision. I’m thrilled we were able to get it done.”
