A waste collection and recycling firm has expanded by nearly 30,000 square feet at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Glenpointe campus in Teaneck, the real estate company said Monday.
According to a news release, Interstate Waste Services now leases 47,545 square feet at 300 Frank W. Burr Blvd., which includes an expansion at the campus last year. IWS, described as one of the nation’s fastest-growing waste collection, disposal and recycling businesses, has been a tenant at Glenpointe since 2013.
“Since we moved our corporate headquarters to Glenpointe over a decade ago, our business and team have grown considerably,” said Brian Giambagno, chief financial officer of IWS. “We are thrilled to remain a part of the Glenpointe community and secure the additional space we need to continue to accommodate our strategic growth.”
In the transaction, Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. Andrew Zezas of Real Estate Strategies Corp. represented IWS.
The lease expansion is the latest update for the bustling 670,000-square-foot Glenpointe campus, which has four interconnected office, amenity and hotel buildings, as well as a standalone, dual-branded hotel building. Sanzari announced the deal while touting the property’s extensive amenities and a prime location near Interstate 80 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager for the firm, noted in the news release that the site provides businesses with spaces that fit current needs while also allowing them to expand down the line.
“We take a tremendous amount of pride in our ability to meet our tenants’ needs,” she said.
