Larken Associates has picked a veteran commercial real estate executive as its new chief investment officer.
According to the Branchburg-based firm, David Iacobucci brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role and will work closely with CEO and President David Gardner and Chief Financial Officer Babette Rutman to grow and manage its investment portfolio. In addition, he will lead the company’s work to source new capital and evaluate new investments to bolster its portfolio of multifamily, office, industrial and retail properties.
“As we continue to grow our leadership team, it’s extremely important for us to hire deeply experienced professionals who also share a common interest in positively impacting the communities where we operate,” Gardner said. “With the addition of David to our team, we have taken yet another step towards accomplishing this goal and we’re simply thrilled to have him on board.”
Iacobucci spent six years as a senior investment officer with Bergman Real Estate Group, a Woodbridge-based, family-owned real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, ownership, management, leasing and construction supervision of office buildings and commercial properties. He also was a senior vice president with Vision Real Estate Partners, a managing director at Woodmont Industrial Partners, a division manager of The Baker Cos. and a vice president of asset management of The Schultz Organization.
“I’ve been honored to help some of the commercial real estate industry’s most successful firms execute countless investments throughout the over 30 years I have been active in the business,” Iacobucci said. “From my first meeting with the Larken Associates team, it was clear that their community-focused development philosophy made it the ideal place for me to continue my career. I am excited to help them grow and bring their visions to life across New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the years to come.”
