The owner of three medical office buildings at Belleville’s Clara Maass Medical Center has completed two new leases within the portfolio, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced.

In the larger deal, Clark Dermatology LLC signed a renewal for its 2,557-square-foot space at 36 Newark Ave., according to a news release. The landlord, Everest Healthcare Properties LLC, also secured a 1,776-square-foot lease with The Heart Center of the Oranges, which is relocating to 5 Franklin Ave. just north of the acute care hospital.

NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented ownership in both deals. They’ve served as the leasing team for the 127,143-square-foot medical office portfolio, which also includes 50 Newark Ave., since 2021.

“With a central location in one of the most densely populated parts of the state next to a premier healthcare facility, the Clara Maass Campus Medical Offices portfolio continues to be in high demand from health care tenants,” Lizzack said. “We were happy to work with both of these tenants to help them secure long-term homes for their practices as they continue to deliver care across northern New Jersey.”
