NAIOP New Jersey will honor eight members and commercial real estate industry leaders next month when it hosts its annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner.
The organization on Tuesday unveiled the honorees for the Nov. 6 program, which will take place at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, citing their outstanding service and contributions as volunteer leaders with the chapter. They include recipients in five categories:
- Legacy Award: Jack Fersko of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP
- Pillar Award: Jeffrey Hipschman of CBRE
- Advocacy Award: Jay Rhatican of Hartz Mountain Industries
- Volunteer of the Year Award: Terry Armstrong of Elberon Development Group
- Rising Star Award: Andrew Chun of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services
In addition, NAIOP will induct Alan Lambiase of River Terminal Development Co., Joseph S. Taylor of Matrix Development Group and Deborah Paige Hanson of The Hampshire Cos. into the NAIOP New Jersey Hall of Fame.
“Each of these leaders has contributed their time, knowledge and energy to advance our association and New Jersey’s commercial real estate development industry,” said Mark Shearer, NAIOP New Jersey president. “This special evening is dedicated to celebrating their selfless and tireless work, which is especially meaningful as our industry evolves to meet ongoing challenges.”
Networking and cocktails begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards presentation, NAIOP said. The program concludes at 7:45 p.m.
