A growing family of health practices has taken nearly 25,000 square feet of office space in Secaucus, where it’s backfilling part of The Vitamin Shoppe’s corporate headquarters.
According to Newmark, which brokered the sublease, Abra Health will use the space at 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd. to centralize its billing operations and establish a call center. That will support its growth, the leasing ream said, while placing it at the intersection of Route 3 and the New Jersey Turnpike, which is centrally located for most employees.
Newmark Senior Managing Director Jeff Kolodkin and Associate Director Andrew Kirshenbaum represented Abra Health in the 24,908-square-foot deal.
“We are proud to have facilitated Abra Health’s sublease at 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd.,” Kirshenbaum said. “The surrounding amenities and convenient transit options make this an excellent choice for their needs as they grow and attract talent.”
Founded in 2008 by Drs. Michael and Brooke Skolnick, the company formerly known as The ChildSmiles Group includes several pediatric primary care and dental clinics serving patients of all ages, according to a news release. Newmark added that Abra Health is poised to expand while staying focused on providing high-quality, affordable care to underserved communities via 17 dental locations and more than 200 doctors across three states, serving more than 1 million patients annually.
Its new location at 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd. allows employees to be near a host of hotels, restaurants, health clubs and shops, along with public transportation options to Manhattan and Secaucus Junction.
