Frank D. Recine

Frank Recine, a prominent broker who spent a combined 20 years with JLL and Newmark’s New Jersey teams, has joined Fairfield-based Accordia as a principal.
The developer and investment firm said Recine joins its leadership team with a strong background in transaction structures, lease negotiations and consulting services, resulting in successful negotiations comprising more than 14 million square feet and over $3 billion in total lease transaction value. That experience includes nearly seven years with JLL, where he most recently was an executive managing director, as well as a 13-year run with Newmark in which he rose to become the firm’s youngest principal.
“Frank’s profound industry knowledge, reputation and remarkable ability to forge strong client relationships make him a perfect fit for Accordia as we look to expand our reach throughout the Northeast and the Sun Belt and deepen our market impact,” said Jason Bogart, the firm’s founding principal. “As Accordia continues to focus on strategic expansion and rebranding, Frank’s expertise will be crucial in steering our company’s efforts in these areas. His role will involve leading initiatives that align with Accordia’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and superior investment performance.
“His leadership qualities and strategic vision will be invaluable.”
Recine’s arrival follows the addition of Matthew Pizzolato, a veteran broker who spent nearly a decade with JLL and HFF, as Accordia’s executive vice president for acquisitions and capital markets. The firm said late last month that he would spearhead its growth through strategic acquisitions in the Northeast, Southeast and other key U.S. markets, largely through functions such as financing strategy and capital sourcing for all acquisitions and developments.
Accordia noted that Recine, who holds a juris doctor degree from Pace University School of Law, is a member of the New York and New Jersey state bars. He’s also the cofounder of GTL Construction of New Jersey, a general contractor specializing in interior and ground-up construction, which has completed a host of commercial projects throughout the state.
But he is best known as a broker, having handled high-profile tenant representation assignments for the likes of Ferrari North America, DHL, Gucci, Yang Ming Shipping, The RealReal, Fresenius Medical and WebMD, among others, Accordia said. He also specialized in landlord representation, working on many high-profile repositioning development projects across the state.
“My mantra has always been to surround yourself with great people, who have passion for what they do, and great things will happen,” Recine said. “I have been blessed to have amazing partners throughout my tenure in brokerage.”
Notably, Recine was part of a prominent brokerage team that also included Tim Greiner, Blake Goodman, Brendan McBride and Colleen Maguire that joined JLL from Newmark in 2017.
“Frank and I have shared a remarkable 12-year journey together, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him as he embarks on a new chapter with Accordia,” said Greiner, an executive managing director with JLL. “Frank’s unwavering dedication and expertise within our brokerage team at JLL was instrumental in our success. As he transitions to Accordia, I have no doubt that he will bring his exceptional skills and industry knowledge to help lead their growth and development.”
Accordia, meantime, cited Recine’s many accolades from trade associations and internally at JLL.
“Joining Accordia is a pivotal step in my career — being part of a company with a robust strategic vision and poised for significant growth,” Recine said. “I look forward to leveraging my experiences and insights to drive success at Accordia and expand our portfolio across new and thriving markets.”
