Rockefeller Group has deepened its bench in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with the addition of a longtime team member from its New York City headquarters.

Jennifer Stein, who joined the firm in 2008, is now a director of development for the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. In her new role, she is responsible for implementing and executing regional development transactions in collaboration with the Morristown-based team.
That includes coordinating and communicating with venture partners in support of efforts to identify, source and close development transactions, plus oversight and management of the development process in the region.
“Jennifer Stein’s experience and knowledge of commercial real estate from her 10 years in leasing at Rockefeller Group headquarters in Manhattan makes her a great addition to Rockefeller Group’s (New Jersey and Pennsylvania) development team,” said Heath Abramsohn, a vice president and regional director of development with the firm. “Jennifer has a great working relationship with brokers and we feel she will help us continue to grow our business in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and surrounding states.”
Prior to her role in development, Stein was responsible for leasing Rockefeller Group’s owned real estate in Midtown Manhattan, according to a news release. She has leased some 4.7 million square feet of office space and 70,000 square feet of retail at 1221 Avenue of the Americas and 1271 Avenue of the Americas, which also serves as the firm’s headquarters.
Most notably, Stein was directly involved with the $600 million redevelopment and lease-up efforts of 1271 Avenue of the Americas, a 2.1 million-square-foot building that was fully vacated and fully re-leased to blue-chip companies, the news release said. In addition to leasing and marketing, her role involved managing tenant relations in the portfolio and relationships with brokers in Manhattan.
Stein previously held positions in the company’s property management and design and construction departments, while she holds a bachelor’s from Rutgers University and a master’s from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. She recently chaired the Landlord Circle committee of CoreNet Global’s New York City chapter, while she is a member of NAIOP New Jersey and a scholar with WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate.
