Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has signed a nearly 62,000-square-foot lease renewal with Cole Schotz PC, a longtime tenant at its Court Plaza complex in Hackensack.
In a news release, Sanzari said the office at 25 Main St. has served as a key outpost for a law firm with more than 180 attorneys across New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas and Florida. The practice, which occupies 61,582 square feet, has been a tenant at Court Plaza North since 1986.
The landlord’s in-house team completed the transaction.
“For nearly four decades, our New Jersey team has worked out of our Court Plaza North office in Hackensack,” said Warren A. Usatine, co-managing shareholder of Cole Schotz. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth during that time — locally as well as nationally — and we’re glad to have this office serve as a strategic hub for our attorneys and clients in the years to come.”
Court Plaza is home to a long list of law firms, thanks in part to its location across from the Bergen County Courthouse. The three-building, 335,000-square-foot property has amenities such as a full-service cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating, an on-site fitness center with lockers and showers, a large common conference room and 100 percent covered parking.
“Whether a tenant has been with us for one day or nearly 40 years, we take great pride in the relationships we have built with every single one,” said Carolina Gutierrez, manager of leasing and marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprise. “We are honored that Cole Schotz will continue to call Court Plaza home, and we look forward to building on our longstanding relationship in the years to come.”
