A technology firm is expanding at the Glenpointe campus in Teaneck, signing a new lease with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises after starting at the property’s recently launched co-working space.
The tenant, UVeye, is taking an undisclosed amount of space at Glenpointe Centre West on Frank W. Burr Blvd., which will serve as its new U.S. headquarters. Sanzari announced the deal on Wednesday, noting that the six-year-old business develops automated inspection systems for vehicles, with additional offices in Israel and Ohio.
Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented ownership in the deal.
“We have chosen New Jersey and Glenpointe as our USA headquarters both because of its great facilities and convenient location,” said Yaron Saghiv, chief marketing officer of UVeye. “Our global expansion providing inspection devices for vehicles has been accelerated recently and we plan to scale throughout North America with local teams reporting to our New Jersey office. Thank you to the wider Glenpointe team for their great collaboration and support!”
ASE, meantime, noted that UVeye was the first tenant at FLEX Powered by Glenpointe, the campus’ 5,300-square-foot co-working concept built to serve individuals and growing companies. The real estate firm unveiled the space this past spring, in part to draw companies that could grow to become full-fledged office users.
UVeye, which relies on artificial intelligence and proprietary hardware, has installed systems at more than 100 sites across the globe, including vehicle manufacturing facilities, dealerships, fleet company lots and logistics centers, as well as energy, financial and diplomatic security facilities.
“UVeye is a shining example of how Glenpointe and specifically FLEX Powered by Glenpointe space can provide the facilities needed for growing companies to continue their upward trajectory,” said Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager for Sanzari. “It’s extremely gratifying for our team to play a role in their success, and we are thrilled to have the company plant its roots at Glenpointe.”
The landlord’s other recent additions at Glenpointe, which sits at the junction of interstates 80 and 95, include a 26,000-square-foot fitness center, a 22,000-square-foot multipurpose outdoor amenity space and an on-site community lounge known as The Pointe. All told, the property is home to 670,000 square feet of office space and 700 hotel rooms, along with several casual and dining options.
