A regional law firm has renewed its nearly 8,600-square-foot lease for office space in Parsippany, in the largest of several newly announced deals by Signature Acquisitions.
According to the landlord, the 8,587-square-foot transaction by Kiernan Trebach LP is among two renewals at Waterview Plaza at 2001 Route 46. Morrison Mahoney LLP, an international law firm, recommitted to its 4,840-square-foot lease at the 130,000-square-foot building.
All told, Signature recorded more than 28,700 square feet of new, expanded and renewed office leases across its New Jersey portfolio during the first quarter of 2023. That activity also included a 2,284-square-foot expansion at Waterview Plaza with Synerfac Technical Staffing, a national firm that maintains its northern New Jersey office there, in addition to a 2,178-square-foot expansion with Snellings Law LLC.

The firm on Monday also announced a renewal at 100 Matawan Road in Matawan, where industrial paper broker and supplier Trebor Inc. leases 5,430 square feet. The company has been a tenant at the 132,655-square-foot building for more than 30 years.
Meantime, Signature Acquisitions reported some 5,400 square feet of office leases, expansions and renewals over the first quarter of 2023 at its Parkway Commerce Center portfolio, led by a new 2,045-square-foot lease with OneMain Financial Group at 20 Commerce Drive in Cranford. At 14 Commerce Drive, it completed new leases with Pinex Team, a creative services firm, and with Cubes Builders, a home improvement contractor.
Other deals in the Union County portfolio include an expansion by Cornerstone Day School, a private therapeutic school for students in grades five through 12, at 10-12 Commerce Drive, plus a renewal by financial services firm Grammercy Capital.
The activity follows a strong year of office leasing activity for Signature, which saw close to 250,000 square feet of leasing within its New Jersey office portfolio in 2022.
