A private business has acquired more than 20,000 square feet of commercial space across three buildings in Matawan, in a deal arranged by Sheldon Gross Realty and KBC Advisors.
According to Sheldon Gross, which represented the buyer, the fully fenced property at 2 Johnson Ave. has two buildings designed for warehousing and a third with office space, a showroom and a storage area. The 20,230-square-foot portfolio sits on eight-tenths of an acre less than a mile from the Garden State Parkway, providing easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Port Newark-Elizabeth and other destinations.
Sheldon Gross President Marcy Gross and Corporate Sales Representative Joshua Glussky completed the assignment on the firm’s behalf. KBC Advisors represented the seller.
“Businesses are eager to acquire flex properties specifically because they provide more options for use,” Gross said. “This particular location in Matawan is a perfect example. It had been used by a plumbing supply company, but it presents opportunities to do a wide range of different things. There really are very few limitations.”
