Vericon Construction is marking its 20th anniversary, boasting a track record of more than 4,000 projects with a combined value of more than $2.2 billion.
The firm, which is based in Mountainside, is celebrating the milestone as it builds on a portfolio that touches the financial, corporate, retail, industrial, health care and hospitality sectors, among many others. That business has helped it grow from its first, small office in Westfield to six locations across the country, also including the Washington D.C. metro area, North Carolina, Florida and Texas, with projects spanning more than half the United States.
Its founders include Charles A. DeAngelis, Stephen M. Mellett and Tricia A. Vohden.
“Our 20th anniversary is a celebration of the hard work, dedication and integrity that have defined Vericon since day one,” said Mellett, the firm’s CEO and president. “From a simple idea sketched on a napkin to a company we’re proud of, it’s incredible to drive by our projects and say, ‘We built that.’ Our success comes from strong relationships, diverse expertise and a shared commitment to quality. We look forward to continuing this journey and growing even further.”
Vericon’s clients include some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies, the firm said, with projects including large-scale rollouts, complex multiphase renovations, inline buildouts and ground-up construction. It added that 99 percent of its work year-over-year comes from repeat clients.
