Wolf Commercial Real Estate has bolstered its presence in health care with the addition of veteran broker and industry specialist Kim Kretowicz.
The Marlton-based firm and CORFAC International affiliate said Kretowicz, formerly of Colliers, joins its ranks as executive vice president for health care services. She comes to the role with 30 years of expertise in commercial real estate, having spent the past 10 years focused exclusively on developing and executing real estate strategies for health care owners and occupier clients.
“We’re thrilled to expand not only our North and Central Jersey market but also our national health care presence with Kim taking the lead,” said Jason Wolf, WCRE’s managing principal. “Her client-focused mentality and deep understanding of the health care real estate sector undoubtedly will drive significant growth for our firm and add tremendous value to the team, community and our clients. Kim is highly respected among health care real estate investors, developers and providers and is a great fit with our culture.”
Kretowicz works with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, investors and developers to provide guidance and transactional services for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and sale-leasebacks, according to a news release. Her move to WCRE comes as part of the firm’s ongoing expansion in recent months, following the addition of several seasoned brokers and increased activity in the central and northern New Jersey and New York markets.
She will work closely with Eric Grad, managing principal of WCRE’s New York office, as part of the firm’s growth strategy beyond its base in South Jersey and Philadelphia.
“We are thrilled to have Kim join our team,” Grad said. “Her extensive track record and deep understanding of health care capital markets will be instrumental in providing exceptional service to our clients.”
Kretowicz most recently was a senior vice president and health care fellow within Colliers’ national healthcare services group and was a member of its national capital markets group, WCRE said. She specialized in medical office acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and physician sale-leasebacks.
“With a shared vision, strong culture, and a team of talented colleagues, I look forward to building on the momentum Wolf Commercial Real Estate has built and contributing to even greater success,” Kretowicz said, citing the firm’s relationships with local health care clients such as Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Virtua Health, Jefferson Health and Quest Diagnostics, as well as its national reach through CORFAC International.
