Eastman Cos. and RWJBarnabas Health have signed a long-term lease for nearly 12,000 square feet of office space in Livingston, brokers with CBRE announced Monday.

According to a news release, the health care network will use the site at 290 West Mount Pleasant Ave. for its administrative offices and training facility. The facility will support the organization’s network of independent providers in New Jersey, whose members include academic centers, acute care facilities and research hospitals.

CBRE’s Jonathan Meisel, Dan Casey and Erin Wenzler represent the ownership team of Eastman and P3RE at The Eisenhower, a 384,000-square-foot building long known as the Eisenhower Corporate Campus, working with Eastman Director of Leasing Eric Maurer. Richel Commercial Brokerage represented the tenant in the 11,667-square-foot deal.

“RWJBarnabas needed a centrally located Class A office facility that was easily accessible for their team of professionals,” Meisel said. “The Eisenhower offered the health care firm state-of-the-art office space as well as a number of on-site amenities including ample parking, food service options and premium conferencing facilities.”

According to CBRE, those amenities include a 220-seat auditorium with modern audio and video equipment, electric car chargers, a full-service cafeteria and walkable retail amenities. Tenants are also minutes from Interstate 280, providing easy access to other highways, Newark Liberty International Airport and New York City.
