Will Forcello

Will Forcello has taken the reins as CBRE’s market leader in New Jersey, assuming the post after serving in an interim role since late last summer.
The real estate services firm announced Wednesday that it has promoted Forcello, who previously oversaw its central New Jersey team and has spent more than 16 years at the company. As a senior managing director and market leader, he’ll now spearhead a region that also includes an office in Saddle Brook.
Forcello takes over the post after Jeff Hipschman, who had led CBRE’s New Jersey offices since 2009, joined Binswanger as its CEO.
“I am delighted to announce Will’s promotion to senior managing director and New Jersey market leader and look forward to collaborating with him as CBRE develops and implements strategic plans to expand our market dominance, increase revenue and drive profitability,” said Robert Caruso, a senior managing director with the firm. “Will was promoted due to his strong leadership and commitment to supporting the growth and development of our business and our talented people across New Jersey.”
CBRE noted that Forcello has extensive knowledge of all facets of its advisory business, having started his career in industrial and office leasing before expanding to research analysis and then rising to become the head of its tristate suburban research group. Those roles and other leadership posts have exposed Forcello to many of the company’s key business segments, giving him a deep understanding of the organization, business and industry.
The firm added that, in 2018, Forcello established the CBRE NJ Rising Professionals Community to serve as a networking group for junior talent within New Jersey’s commercial real estate sector. In 2019, he was recognized as CBRE’s Sales Management Professional of the Year, and he was selected in 2022 as one of NJBIZ’s Next Generation Leaders.
