Eastern Union has announced
the hiring of TJ Liebes, a former broker on it team who returns to the commercial real estate finance firm as a senior underwriter.
Based in the company’s Howell office, Liebes is responsible for underwriting, analyzing and processing loan opportunities
on behalf
of property
investors,
according to a
news release. He
brings extensive
experience as
an underwriter,
having
underwritten and closed nearly $100 million in transactions over the past several years for Woodlake Properties, a family investment office based in Lakewood.
“TJ has a notable record of accomplishment as a loan underwriter,” said Ira Zlotowitz, president and co-founder of New York-based Eastern Union. “With his proven capacity to present loan opportunities in an optimal light, we’re confident that a bright future awaits him at Eastern Union.”

Di Cara | Rubino Architects has named Allen Barnett, Allison Sroka and Roderick Watkins as its newest principals.
In a news release, the Wayne-based practice said Barnett, Sroka and Watkins bring decades of combined experience to their new positions. The promotions were effective Oct. 1, with each coming from the firm’s project management staff to join current principals Jerry Rubino and Joseph Di Cara.
