A Somerset County shopping center has reached full occupancy with the debut of a 3,000-square-foot store by a national optical retailer.
Levin Management Corp., the leasing and managing agent at Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan, announced last week that America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses has opened its doors at the 150,000-square-foot property at 300 Route 202. LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty arranged the lease, with Cushman & Wakefield and David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty & Development representing the tenant.
“We are thrilled to introduce America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses to the mix at this high-demand property,” Fernandez-Kelty said. “America’s Best marks a new retail category for Somerville Circle, and this brand represents a quality addition. This property has become a magnet for national brands that secure its position as a ‘one-stop shopping’ destination.”
The debut comes as national off-price retailer Burlington Stores is gearing up to open a new, 46,000-square-foot location at the center, LMC said. The new stores join a roster that is anchored by P.C. Richard & Son and also includes Staples, Petco, Carter’s, Jersey Mike’s, Panera Bread, Burger King, Five Below and Harmon Discount.
