A series of logistics firms and other industrial users are expanding in New Jersey thanks to nearly 427,000 square feet in new leases arranged by brokers with Newmark.
According to a news release last month, the deals include a 154,000-square-foot commitment by GMB North America at 1804 River Road in Burlington. Newmark senior managing directors Kyle Eaton and Robert Loderstedt, Managing Director Michael Schipper and Associate Director Haylee McCabe represented the tenant in the deal, while Cushman & Wakefield’s Jules Nissim and Kimberly Bach and NAI Mertz’s Scott Mertz and Theresa Amato representing Crow Holdings Development as the leasing team at Crow Holdings at 6A.
The Newmark team also represented the tenant in four other major industrial deals this year, including:
- CEVA, which leased 150,000 square feet at 40 Enterprise Drive in Hamilton
- Bay Speed, which leased 65,817 square feet at 100 Middlesex Ave. in Carteret
- Glenmore Plastic, which leased 35,000 square feet at 115 Newfield Ave. in Edison
- Excellent Packaging, which leased 22,000 square feet at 480 Main St. in Wallington
“This activity speaks to the strength of both the market and our team,” Eaton said. “We continue to see demand from an array of users and our differentiated, partnership-driven approach allows us to deliver tailored solutions across every assignment. With a robust pipeline ahead, we’re optimistic about what the year holds.”
The activity follows a banner year for the Newmark team, which completed more than 5.2 million square feet of industrial leasing across 40 transactions in 2024, the news release said. Notable assignments included nearly 1 million square feet for Logistics Plus in Millstone, 371,000 square feet for LA Enterprises in Monroe, 337,000 square feet for Supply House in Dayton and 326,000 square feet for Supply One in North Arlington, among others.
