Longtime broker Michael Zimmerman has joined Katz & Associates to expand the Englewood Cliffs-based firm’s investment sales business.
The company said Zimmerman, who has completed more than $1 billion in transactions over the past 20 years, will work nationally to help clients review their assets and opportunities. He’ll also provide capital solutions, working in connection with the existing investment sales team across all Katz offices.
The former vice president at Northmarq will serve as a senior vice president, investment sales, with Katz.
“Expanding our investment sales capabilities has been a priority to continue to support our clients’ needs,” CEO Brian Katz said. “Finding the right cultural and strategic fit was critical, and Michael has the precise experience we have been seeking. According to a news release, Zimmerman has an extensive background in commercial real estate investment sales. The ICSC member has also worked at Atlantic Retail Properties and several boutique and national firms.
