Marcus Partners has filled nearly half of a South Plainfield industrial building after inking a lease with a moving and storage company, according to brokers with Bussel Realty Corp.
The business, Great Moving & Storage, will occupy 27,484 square feet at 20 Harmich Road, Building 2, under a deal that places it less than three miles from Interstate 287. BRC Principal Jordan Metz, Senior Associate Benito Abbate and Sales Associate James Friel represented the tenant, while Lee & Associates represented ownership at the 57,250-square-foot building.

BRC noted that the building, which sits on 4.9 acres, has 27.5-foot ceilings heights, two tailboard loading, five drive-in doors, wet sprinklers, 400 amps of electric power and ample parking. Users are minutes from routes 1, 9 and 440, the Garden State Parkway and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island, New York.
