Signature Acquisitions is starting 2026 with strong momentum, following a year in which it tripled its leasing volume across its portfolio of suburban office space in the region.
The real estate firm said it completed 11 new deals and renewals in the fourth quarter, accounting for a combined 142,000 square feet of transaction volume in New Jersey and on Long Island and doubling its third-quarter activity. That included 26,000 square feet in new leases with users such as Center For Family Services, which took space at its Boulevard Plaza office building in Parsippany, as well as commitments from PSE&G, Schwartz & Schwartz and Bankers Cooperative Group at its properties in Cranford.
The activity punctuated a year that saw Signature complete 505,000 square feet in transactions overall, including 24 new leases and six lease expansions, surging past its 2024 totals.
“Demand for premier, suburban office space remains robust, and Class A assets with strong amenities are seeing steady absorption,” said Sandy Monaghan, senior vice president of Signature Acquisitions. “In recent years, many suburban offices have been taken offline to be repurposed for industrial or residential uses, which has further supported the resilience of the regional office market.”
According to the firm, PSE&G and Schwartz & Schwartz signed their new leases at 25 Commerce Drive in Cranford, while Bankers Cooperative Group took space at 11 Commerce Drive. Rhythm Medical also renewed its lease at 14 Commerce Drive, one of several deals at Signature’s flagship Parkway Commerce Center portfolio.
Other activity at Boulevard Plaza, an 86,521-square-foot building at 1055 Parsippany Blvd., includes renewals by Sun West and Elevate HR. At 500 Plaza Drive in Secaucus, the landlord secured a new lease with Retarus.
“Tenants are choosing Signature properties as their corporate homes because of the care we take in designing and amenitizing spaces that can foster a positive working environment,” Monaghan said. “With the continued success of our approach, we look forward to supporting our tenants and growing alongside them for years to come.”
