A charter bus company has secured 48,000 square feet of industrial space in Lawrence Township under a newly completed lease with Velocity Venture Partners.
According to the landlord, Easton Coach Co. will use the site in the township’s Lawrenceville section for maintenance and repair of its paratransit fleet. Newmark’s Rob Loderstedt represented Velocity, which is based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, in what marks the latest in a string of recent deals at 2572 Brunswick Pike.
“Importantly, this leaves just 65,000 square feet remaining —with up to eight docks — in our best pocket of the building,” Tony Grelli, Velocity’s founding partner, wrote in an email.
The transaction follows the firm’s redevelopment of what was a pharmaceutical manufacturing and warehousing site, allowing it to tap into demand from industrial users seeking 25,000 to 150,000 square feet. Features of the site include significant power, multiple dock courts, paved areas for industrial outdoor storage and strong visibility along Route 1.
