Larken Associates completed more than 1 million square feet of leasing activity across its commercial portfolio in 2025, setting the stage for continued growth in 2026.
The Branchburg-based firm said the 441 transactions — which spanned office, retail, medical office and industrial flex properties across New Jersey and Pennsylvania — included 116 new deals totaling 262,559 square feet and 325 renewals totaling 740,787 square feet. That drove a portfolio-wide occupancy rate of 94 percent, with a tenant retention rate of 95.3 percent at year’s end, under a division led by executive vice presidents Victor Kelly and Rob Marek.
Larken in 2025 also broke ground on Flemington Junction Business Center III, a two-building, 70,637-square-foot shallow-bay industrial flex warehouse complex in Flemington. The project further expands its portfolio in the borough, which includes two adjacent properties, and will bring its footprint at the site to 270,000 square feet.
The projects represent 25 percent of the firm’s industrial development over the past five years.
“2025 was another year of strong performance across our commercial portfolio, marked by sustained leasing momentum, high occupancy and retention and key project milestones,” said David Gardner, CEO and president of Larken Associates. “We are excited to carry this momentum through 2026 as we continue to grow and diversify our portfolio.”
