Levin Management Corp. is celebrating its chairman, William A. Farber, marking 55 years since he joined the Levin organization before co-founding the affiliated real estate services firm.
The company, which is based in North Plainfield, said Farber has helped shape its evolution into a trusted third-party provider for the owners of a combined 16 million square feet across 125 properties in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. He has also been a source of consistency and a steady hand along the way, LMC said, as it remains focused on helping clients protect and enhance value through disciplined operations, strategic leasing and trusted advisory support.
Farber joined the Levin organization in 1971 and later co-founded Levin Management in 1982 with Janice H. Levin, widow of pioneering shopping center developer Philip J. Levin.
“Bill’s tenure reflects steady stewardship and the values that guide our approach to client service and culture,” said Matthew K. Harding, CEO of Levin Management Corp. “That long-term perspective has helped shape a platform built on relationships, accountability and continuity.”
While LMC continues to represent Levin family holdings, the firm primarily serves institutional, fiduciary and private property owners through a full-service platform spanning leasing, property management and related disciplines, according to a news release. It continues to emphasize:
- Integrated service delivery across leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction management and development, lease administration, marketing services and acquisition/disposition consulting
- Long-term team culture, reflected in long-tenured professionals across departments
- Continued evolution of capabilities, including technology, operating efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives aligned with changing client needs
