The Alban Group is expanding to South Florida, seeking to grow its construction management platform alongside new branding and a redesigned headquarters in Newark.
The firm on Monday said the new office in Boca Raton will focus on commercial interiors, corporate, health care, higher education and mission-critical spaces, as well as large-scale residential remodels. That will allow it to bring what it described as New York City-level construction management expertise to one of the country’s most active development markets — namely, the Palm Beach County and Fort Lauderdale/Miami-Dade regions — after having spent decades in the Northeast.
“Our clients are increasingly operating across multiple markets, and they want consistency in quality, accountability and execution,” said Tammy Smith, president of The Alban Group. “We’re excited to bring our proven NYC approach to Florida while building strong local relationships and teams.”
In conjunction with its geographic growth, the firm has unveiled a new brand identity, a redesigned website and a refreshed visual look to reflect its evolution and forward-looking strategy, according to a news release. It has also moved into a newly designed office space in Newark, reinforcing its longstanding roots in the region.
The Alban Group is further supporting its expansion with the hiring of Erin Hird, formerly of JLL. She joins the firm’s leadership team with extensive experience in commercial real estate and construction management and will play a key role in business development and client engagement as the company grows its national footprint.
