Privately held Asset Based Lending has expanded its presence in New Jersey with the opening of an office in Cherry Hill, part of a wave of growth in several key U.S. markets.
Based in Jersey City, the firm described the Cherry Hill location as a second headquarters while citing its proximity to vibrant and growing real estate markets, high-caliber talent and established strength within the mortgage industry. The space will be home to employees in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region, providing a base where they can connect with colleagues and foster stronger collaboration among teams.
ABL added that it’s seeing strong momentum as it scales across the East Coast and nationwide, with more than 55 current employees and room to support additional hires. The firm did not list the address of the new office.

It’s a launchpad for the future of ABL, and a crucial step in driving the company forward,” CEO Kevin Rodman said. “Situated in a thriving market, this location positions us to scale while maintaining the personalized, dependable service that sets us apart. We’ve built the infrastructure to lead this industry and deliver even greater value to borrowers and employees alike.”
ABL also pointed to recent expansions in Dallas and Nashville, touting a focus on meeting borrowers where they are and delivering innovative, localized solutions. The new hub in Cherry Hill, meantime, will centralize core business functions such as loan processing, underwriting and human resources while optimizing workflows, helping it meet growing demand for its lending solutions, particularly in the new construction sector.
