Avison Young has announced four new hires for its fast-growing project management group in New Jersey.

The recent additions, who will be based in the firm’s Morristown office, include Jay Singer as senior project manager and Victoria Daledda as assistant project manager. Meantime, both John Breece and William Duvall come to AY as superintendents.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jay, Victoria, William and John to Avison Young and for the extensive experience and knowledge they will add to our Project and Construction Management teams as we continue to win new business and strengthen this imperative service line,” said Jeffrey Heller, an Avison Young principal and managing director of its New Jersey office. “Under the leadership of Tracey Kasper, our New Jersey Project Management Group will continue to provide our clients with an elevated level of service and attention to detail throughout the project build-out cycle, helping bring their workspace visions to life.”

In a news release, the real estate services firm said Singer comes to the role with more than three decades of leadership, project management and development experience. His responsibilities with AY will include overseeing all stages of project lifecycles, facilitating in tenant, ownership and vendor communications and leading project teams.
Most recently, Singer was the vice president of construction at Republic Bank, where he managed the portfolio of branch development throughout the New York and Philadelphia metro markets, which ranged from 3,000 to 8,000 square feet and $3 million to $8 million total cost per location, the news release said. Prior to that, he managed extensive renovation and development projects during his time at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, Marine Architects and TD Bank, including the large Unilever campus repositioning project in Englewood.

In her new role, Daledda will streamline project management efficiency by providing support to project and construction managers, coordinating communications among managers, clients, vendors and architects, the firm said. She will also managed administrative documents for projects and prepare, distribute and track RFPs.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Daledda was an assistant project manager at CMM Custom Homes, where she provided project management services for six active projects with an accumulated value of $15 million. She also has portfolio and property management experience from her previous roles at Hudson Homes Management Services and Transwestern.

With more than 20 years of property maintenance and construction management experience, Duvall is well-versed in portfolio management, maintenance and construction coordination, building electrical and security systems and leadership, the news release said. As superintendent, he will supervise ground-up projects and renovations, oversee construction site logistics and manage project timelines, safeness and budgets.
Breece, for his part, joins AY after nearly a decade at Winter Management, where he held roles such as building engineer, building manager, project manager and property manager. In his newest position, he will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the activities of a construction site, performing quality control and safety checks, managing a team of workers and subcontractors and tracking labor progress.
