Atkins Cos. has picked Avison Young as its leasing team for more than 151,000 square feet of medical and professional office space in Fair Lawn.
According to a news release, Avison Young Principal and Executive Director Jeff Heller and Senior Vice President Steven Geltzeiler will spearhead the assignment at 17-17 Route 208. That includes filling space alongside tenants Summit Health, which recently moved to the building and occupies 78,000 square feet of multispecialty medical space, along with law firm Gottlieb & Greenspan LLC and SportsCare Physical Therapy.
“The New Jersey office market is showing signs of stabilization, and the medical sector continues its strength and expansion throughout the state. Tenants are increasingly seeking high-quality, amenity-rich properties supported by financially stable owners for their employees, clients, and patients,” Heller said. “We are proud to partner with Atkins Companies to bring this asset to full occupancy with exceptional tenants who are seeking well-located, high-performance space to meet their specific operational needs.”
West Orange-based Atkins acquired the 151,339-square-foot building earlier this year, seeking to leverage its proximity to the Garden State Parkway and routes 4 and 17, along with nearby restaurants, shops and office properties.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Avison Young,” said Cory Atkins, principal at Atkins Cos. “Their expertise and dedication make them the ideal partner to help brokers and tenants find the perfect space in one of New Jersey’s premier business locations.”
