Public relations and marketing firm Beckerman has rebranded after three decades, bringing several subsidiaries under a new umbrella that includes its well-known real estate practice.
The agency on Tuesday announced its new name, Antenna, in a move that coincides with its 30th anniversary. Founded as a boutique real estate public relations firm, the company has grown to a national platform that represents dozens of major developers and service providers, along with a growing roster of real estate technology businesses.
That practice is now known as Antenna Spaces and operates alongside other business units such as Eco Branding and Chicago Digital.
“Antenna is equipped to provide our clients with the full arsenal of public relations and marketing services that brands require in today’s disrupted, distracted and fragmented media environment,” Antenna CEO Keith Zakheim said. “With our help, companies can effectively leverage any media platform — traditional, digital or social — to drive their message to their key audiences and influencers.”
The firm touted its experience in launching integrated campaigns on behalf of real estate investment trusts, national developers and homebuilders, along with ‘future’ workplaces, architecturally distinct luxury residential properties, commercial and residential brokerage firms and transformative mixed-use redevelopments. Antenna also boasts what it says is the industry’s largest real estate technology practice.
Additionally, the newly rebranded firm advises and provides PR and digital marketing campaigns to clients in the cleantech, mobility, health care and B2B technology industries, according to a news release. The firm’s core offerings — such as strategy, messaging, media relations, event planning, thought leadership and crisis communications — are now bolstered by digital marketing services including social media, paid digital, web design, SEO and inbound sales and marketing automation.
As part of the corporate rebrand, Antenna has unveiled a new logo, name, brand identity and website to convey its offerings. The firm now encompasses a network of more than 80 professionals across offices in New York City, New Jersey, San Francisco and Chicago.
“What clients have always loved about our practice isn’t changing, but the real estate industry is, as technology, evolving consumer behavior, and changing demographics have dramatically shifted the landscape,” said Christa Segalini, who remains executive vice president overseeing Antenna Spaces. “Our enhanced integrated marketing capabilities enable us to partner with our clients to navigate this disruption, armed with a complete toolkit of services guided by decades of deep industry domain expertise.”
