Bergman Real Estate Group has promoted a member of its leasing team, touting her role in growing occupancy and tenant retention within its 17-building office portfolio.
The Woodbridge-based firm announced Monday that it has elevated Isabel Freire to senior director of leasing and marketing. She earns the promotion after joining Bergman in 2015 as an assistant director of leasing.
“Isabel is a valued member of our leasing team here at Bergman Real Estate Group,” said Michael Bergman, the firm’s CEO and president, “and I am very pleased to announce this well-deserved promotion.”
Freire’s primary responsibilities include lease negotiation and preparation, marketing, public relations and new business development, according to a news release. Bergman said she has been instrumental in improving the overall occupancy and tenant retention of its New Jersey portfolio, which totals 2.1 million square feet of office space.
Prior to joining Bergman, Freire served as a sales broker with Jones Lang LaSalle.
