A private family office is looking to sell a Fort Lee development site with approvals in place for a 172-unit luxury residential project, tapping Berkadia as its listing team for the property.
According to the brokers, plans for 90-100 Main St. call for an average unit size of 1,152 square feet, with two-bedroom homes accounting for 70 percent of the floorplans. The Skyline at Main project is also slated to include a full selection of amenity spaces, while renters will have quick access to mass transit, major employment centers and nearby retail and recreation options.
Berkadia’s Nat Gambuzza, Spencer Beriont, Trevor Fiebel and Gerald Filardi are spearheading the assignment on the would-be seller’s behalf, noting that the site benefits from a 30-year payment in lieu of taxes agreement. They added that just 12 percent of the units are designated as affordable housing.
“Skyline at Main represents a rare, fully approved opportunity to deliver 172 luxury residential units in one of Fort Lee’s most coveted transit-oriented locations, steps from the George Washington Bridge and spectacular NYC views, said Beriont, a senior director with Berkadia’s Morristown-based team. “This trophy development embodies the ongoing demand for high-quality housing along New Jersey’s Gold Coast.”
