The Blau & Berg Co. has announced a new leadership team, with Jason Crimmins taking over as CEO and Alessandro Conte as president of the historic real estate services firm.
Kenneth Crimmins, its longtime chairman, will remain in the role as part of a transition that he said will “position us for continued growth and innovation in the industrial, retail and office sectors across New Jersey and the tristate area.” The new leadership team is effective Jan. 1, the firm said, marking the latest positions for Jason Crimmins and Conte after 29 and 23 years with the company, respectively.
“These changes reflect our commitment to blending tradition with forward-thinking leadership as we approach our centennial,” said Ken Crimmins, who joined the company in 1973. “Transitioning to sole chairman of The Blau & Berg Company marks a proud milestone in our family’s multigenerational commitment to excellence in commercial real estate.
“I am confident in Jason Crimmins’ vision as CEO to propel our growth in corporate and supply chain services and in Alessandro Conte’s capabilities as president to fortify our capital markets and client development efforts. This streamlined structure positions us for sustained success, allowing me to focus on governance while supporting the innovative direction of our next leaders.”
Jason Crimmins, previously president of the Short Hills-based firm, brings extensive experience in corporate services, client growth and supply chain logistics, according to a news release. His success has resulted in many accolades, including the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors’ Broker of the Year, Largest Industrial Deal and Largest Land Deal awards, among others.
“As the newly appointed CEO of The Blau & Berg Company, I am honored to lead our talented team into this next chapter,” Jason Crimmins said. “This transition allows me to build on the strong foundation laid by my father, Kenneth, while collaborating closely with Alessandro Conte as president to expand our global reach and enhance services in logistics and capital markets.
“Kenneth’s role as sole chairman ensures continuity and strategic guidance, drawing from his decades of industry leadership. Together, these appointments strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional value to clients in an evolving market.”
Conte, for his part, will look to leverage his expertise in capital markets and industrial site selection and a career that has included more than 50 million square feet of transactions, the news release said. He’s also the former New Jersey chapter president of SIOR and is a licensed broker in eight states.
“I am honored to lead The Blau & Berg Company as we continue to grow our platform for our customers and stakeholders,” Conte said. “Approaching nearly a century in business, our success stems from our talented team of market experts and sales associates utilizing time tested and proven methods coupled with cutting edge technology. I humbly take on this leadership role hoping only to fill the shoes of the storied men who held this position before me and pave a path for those who will come after me.”
