The owner of an office building directly across from the New Jersey Capitol Complex in Trenton is seeking a buyer for the asset, according to a listing team with Cushman & Wakefield.
Brokers say the three-story, 43,157-square-foot property at 150 West State St. is about 80 percent leased, allowing a buyer to establish its own footprint alongside nonprofits, special interest groups, law firms and other government-adjacent organizations that benefit from its proximity to the Statehouse. The location also has 94 on-site parking spaces.
Cushman’s Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, Andre Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri are representing the would-be seller, Capitol View Urban Renewal Associates, having listed the building for $6 million.
“This property’s strategic location right next to the Capitol makes it a highly desirable asset in the Trenton market,” Schwartz said. “As the closest privately owned office building to the Statehouse, it offers an unparalleled advantage for tenants, and a potential new owner-occupier, that require direct access to state government operations. We’re excited to bring this well-located asset with a stable, specialized tenant base to the market.”
