A company that sells diesel engines and power generation products has acquired a 55,000-square-foot industrial property in the Somerset section of Franklin.
According to Bussel Realty Corp., which represented the seller, Mack Boring & Parts paid $13.865 million for the facility at 400 Cottontail Lane. The space will support a business that serves the recreational and commercial marine, industrial off-highway and military markets, providing it with easy access to Interstate 287 and features such as three tailboards, one drive-in door and 25-foot, six-inch ceiling heights.
BRC Executive Vice President and Partner Gregory Irving and Industrial Specialist Steve Jaynes completed the sale on behalf of Hsu Property Holdings. CBRE represented Mack Boring & Parts in its purchase.
“We are thrilled to announce the sale of 400 Cottontail Lane in Somerset, a well-located industrial property near I-287,” Irving said. “The property has expansion capabilities ideal for Mack’s customer base representing approximately 300 authorized dealers across 26 states.”
