A freight carrier has taken 14,000 square feet of small-bay industrial space in Elizabeth, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced Monday.
The operator, Castle & Brothers Logistics, will occupy nearly a quarter of the property at 410 Allen St. under the lease with S&H Development, according to a news release. BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz, Senior Associate Benito Abbate and Sales Associate James Friel represented both parties, noting that the 67,000-square-foot building is near Route 1&9, the New Jersey Turnpike, Port Newark-Elizabeth and other destinations.
They added that the property, which has 24,500 square feet available, also has new renovations and lighting, 24-foot ceiling heights, tailboard loading, wet sprinklers and parking for 15 cars.
“The Metz Industrial Group is thrilled to have represented both the tenant and landlord in this transaction,” Abbate said. “This transaction not only supports the growth of Castle & Brothers in New Jersey, but underscores the continuing demand growth for well-located, functional small-bay industrial space in New Jersey’s port region.”
