A maker of health and wellness products has taken more than 42,000 square feet at a well-known office building in New York’s Rockland County, in a newly announced lease by CBRE.
The company, Nice-Pak Products Inc., will occupy the entire 21st and part of the 20th floor at 1 Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River, roughly a mile from the New Jersey border. CBRE’s James Tully, Jon Meisel and Brian Godau represented the landlord, Glorious Sun Blue Hill Plaza LLC, touting the 42,226-square-foot deal as Rockland County’s largest office lease of the past five years.
Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, a global manufacturer.
“As companies look for high-quality space with outstanding amenities for their return-to-work plans, this transaction speaks directly to how 1 Blue Hill Plaza met all of Nice-Pak’s needs,” Godau said. “As a result, Nice-Pak will relocate its headquarters from Orangeburg, New York, to one of the most outstanding Class A office towers in Rockland County.”
In a news release, CBRE noted that Blue Hill Plaza is 20 minutes from Manhattan and a short drive to northern New Jersey, Westchester County in New York and Connecticut. Amenities include a private fitness center, a cafeteria, childcare, a hair salon, 24/7 access and security, as well as disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
