CBRE has added to its New Jersey-based brokerage and advisory team with the hiring of a new senior vice president.
The real estate services firm announced Tuesday that Jon Williams has joined its ranks, who brings years of expertise in advising corporate occupiers through complex operational and financial occupancy strategies and decisions. He comes to CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an executive director.
“I am excited to be joining CBRE to provide the industry’s unparalleled platform of talent and services to my clients to deliver market setting results,” Williams said.
In a news release, the firm hired Williams’ recognition as an industry leader. He earned NAIOP New Jersey’s Deal of the Year Award in 2018, along with 40 under 40 recognitions by both NJBIZ and the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal.
“We look forward to Jon joining our firm and combining his intense passion and commitment to excellence with CBRE’s remarkable platform to further expand our client solutions both in the greater Morristown area and throughout New Jersey,” said Jeff Hipschman, CBRE’s New Jersey market leader.
Williams earned a B.A. in economics from Villanova University and also studied at New York University’s Real Estate School, the news release said. Presently, he serves on the board of directors of the Villanova University Alumni Association and is a member of the board of directors of the university’s soccer program.
He also served on the board of directors of the American Heart Association.
