One of the newest retail centers along Route 22 is back at full occupancy after leases with a beauty salon co-working operator and a pizza shop, brokers with CBRE announced.
According to the leasing team, Phenix Salon Suites and Mike’s Pizza are taking 12,674 and 1,980 square feet, respectively, at the roughly 111,000-square-foot Greenleaf at Union property in Union Township. They join a tenant roster led by LA Fitness and Bob’s Discount Furniture, along with several others, at the roughly four-year-old complex at 1235 West Chestnut St.
CBRE’s Steven Winters and Michael Horne spearheaded the leasing campaign on behalf of the landlord, Sun Equity Partners.
“Greenleaf at Union is a well located, multitenant center along the vibrant Route 22 corridor and we were fortunate to represent Sun Equity Partners and the center’s redevelopment,” Horne said. “Working closely with ownership, we secured a great lineup of top-tier retailers that now bring this shopping center to full occupancy.”
Sun Equity noted that the deals come after Greenleaf lost two tenants during the pandemic. Users at the property also include First Watch, Sleep Number, Firehouse Subs, Dogtopia and others that benefit from the center’s highway access and the area’s high population density.
“It didn’t take them long during this difficult environment to fill these two recently created vacancies,” Sun Equity’s management team said, referring to Winters and Horne. “We look forward to working with their team again soon.”
