Renters have responded to a new apartment community in Cherry Hill, where developers say they have leased more than half of their 152 units in only two months.
The joint venture of Sterling Properties and Bob Dale touted the leasing success at Evan’s Mill, pointing to their decision to incorporate larger, upscale floorplans into the property. The team has exhausted nearly all of its available inventory at 1350 Brace Road, prompting it to prepare for the release of 80 condo-style apartments that feature elevator access, a private garage parking and available storage.
“The response to Evan’s Mill has been tremendous, confirming our belief that this community offers the kind of homes and lifestyles today’s renters seek, but don’t often find,” Nick Hollenbeck, director of sales and marketing for Sterling Properties, said in a prepared statement. “These modern apartments are among the largest and most well-appointed rental residences in the region. The amenities are second to none and the location is ideal from both the commuter and lifestyle perspectives.
“It’s a complete package that’s proven hard to resist.”
The complex opened in mid-June, with monthly rents starting at $1,625 for a 707-square-foot one-bedroom. The largest two-bedroom, which spans 1,660 square feet with a den, goes for $3,000.
Apartments feature high-end finishes and design, while renters have access to amenities such as a clubhouse, outdoor pool, fitness center and bocce court. The community is connected by walking trails to the Croft Farm Arts Center and the Cooper River park system at Challenge Grove Park, featuring a community bike share program.
The developers also pointed to the site’s proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 295 and Route 70, along with PATCO Speedline service to Philadelphia.
