Mohegan Smoke Shop LLC has leased 1,540 square feet at Summit Plaza, an 88,000-square-foot retail complex in Hackensack owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises
David Greenman of Silbert Realty & Management Co. represented ownership in the transaction at 370-380 West Pleasantview Ave. Anchored by a Stop & Shop supermarket, Summit Plaza has a diverse roster of tenants including Trinity Rehab, GNC, Harmon Face Values, Great Expressions Dental Centers, LabCorp and others.
The property is located at the intersection of Route 17 and Interstate 80.
“Summit Plaza’s strategic location in the heart of Bergen County continues to make it an attractive option for a diverse slate of retail tenants,” said Stephen Jennings, vice president of leasing and marketing at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “Highly visible from the intersection of two heavily traveled roads and endlessly adaptable, Summit Plaza proved to be exactly what Mohegan Cigar was looking for in their new location and we look forward to their opening day.”
Mohegan Smoke Shop, based in Connecticut, has six locations in the tristate area. With construction underway, its new Summit Plaza location is slated to open in the first quarter of 2022, marking its entrance to New Jersey.
“Choosing our first New Jersey location was very difficult until we began working with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises,” Mohegan Cigar’s Mazen Almanha said. “They worked with us in adapting the space to fit our business and have continued to be very attentive in making sure we have everything we need as we prepare to open to the public.”
