Colliers International has made two more additions in New Jersey, bolstering its team of office leasing and capital markets brokers in the state.
The new hires include Doug Petrozzini, formerly of CBRE, who joins the real estate services firm as a senior managing director for office leasing. He is based in Colliers’ Princeton office, bringing 36 years of experience and having worked closely with pharmaceutical companies in their acquisition and disposition of production, R&D and headquarters facilities.
According to Colliers, his expertise in the life sciences sector will be key as it pursues new business and advises both new and existing life science clients.
“COVID-19 continues to redefine modern businesses and more organizations are considering a hub and spoke model of opening smaller regional offices that are closer to their employees,” Petrozzini said. “We’re confident that New Jersey, and Princeton specifically, will be a desirable destination for these organizations due to the availability of quality product and its proximity to New York City.”
“The Princeton area has also historically been an attractive destination for life science tenants given the world-class talent pool and I’m excited to join Colliers to help keep these talented minds and leading businesses in the state.”
He is Colliers’ sixth new hire in New Jersey since the start of 2021.
“I’m thrilled that Doug is joining our rapidly growing team in Princeton,” said Colliers Executive Managing Director Dennis Waggner, the firm’s New Jersey market leader. “Despite some of the headwinds posed by COVID-19, Colliers continues to attract top talent because of our collaborative atmosphere, global platform and best-in-class corporate culture.”
Also joining Colliers is Donald Nuckel, formerly of NAI James E. Hanson, who will be based in its Woodbridge office. He comes to the firm as an associate in the capital markets and investment sales practice and will join the team led by Executive Managing Director Jacklene Chesler.
