Columbia Bank has opened a new branch in downtown Rutherford, where it occupies some 2,300 square feet that it secured with the help of The Goldstein Group.
According to a news release, the lender is leasing the space at 74 Park Ave. under a deal with Julie Richard LLC. That provides it with a highly visible corner location with strong pedestrian traffic and accessibility, supporting Columbia’s continued expansion in northern New Jersey.
The Goldstein Group Principal Neil Goldstein represented the tenant, while Chris Conway of Atlantic Coastal Real Estate represented the landlord.
“We’re proud to have played a key role in bringing a trusted financial institution like Columbia Bank to the Rutherford community,” Goldstein said. “This deal exemplifies our commitment to connecting top-tier tenants with strategic retail locations that support growth and long-term success.”
Operating branches exclusively in New Jersey since 1927, Columbia Bank is known as a community bank serving consumers, professionals, business owners, corporations, developers, entrepreneurs and local municipal entities, the news release said. With a valuation of some $7 billion, Columbia is continuing to grow throughout the state as New Jersey’s fourth-largest bank while currently occupying space in only 10 counties.
