Crow Holdings Development has hired Travis Conley as a senior associate for construction management, bolstering the team behind its growing development pipeline in the Northeast.
Based in the firm’s Montclair office, Conley brings more than 15 years of experience in ground-up development, redevelopment and capital improvement programs across commercial and industrial assets, according to a news release. At CHD, he is responsible for supervising design professionals throughout predevelopment, overseeing construction operations, managing projects with a focus on quality, schedule and budget and identifying ways to improve efficiency.
“Crow Holdings Development’s holistic approach to the full project lifecycle closely aligns with how I’ve approached my work throughout my career,” Conley said. “Few developers have this level of experience and track record of proven execution on projects of any scale. Crow Holdings Development’s ability to proactively navigate challenges and deliver high-quality projects sets it apart, and I look forward to contributing as part of this forward-thinking team.”
Prior to joining CHD, Conley held senior leadership roles within a vertically integrated New York-based real estate investment platform overseeing development, construction operations and asset management functions, the firm said. The Rumson resident holds a bachelor’s in history and economics from Rutgers University and a master’s in construction engineering management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“Travis brings the experience and strategic mindset required to advance our active development pipeline,” said Clark Machemer, CHD senior managing director. “As we move multiple commercial projects toward and through construction, his leadership undoubtedly will strengthen our ability to execute effectively and capitalize on growth opportunities.”
Crow Holdings Development’s holdings in the region includes a 138,000-square-foot partial building opportunity at the recently completed Crow Holdings at 6A in Burlington and 103,500 square feet currently under development at 2748 Grant Ave. in Northeast Philadelphia. The firm is planning to start additional projects this year, noting that its Northeast division has introduced more than 5.3 million square feet of new industrial inventory since 2020 across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
