Vita & Vita Realty Corp. has started construction on the latest piece of what will be nearly 52,000 square feet of retail and medical office space in Morris County.
The developer, which is based in Fairfield, said the third phase of its County Plaza project in Randolph will include a 10,000-square-foot early childhood education and daycare center. The operator, Lightbridge Academy, is slated to open this fall at Route 10 and Dover-Chester Road.
The building follows a 13,013-square-foot CVS Pharmacy store and a 25,200-square-foot medical office building, which make up the first two phases of County Plaza, Vita said. The fourth phase is a freestanding, 3,680-square-foot pad site along Route 10 that will have a drive-up window.
Upon completion, the center will have a total of 51,793 square feet and 255 parking spaces. Vita noted that County Plaza has two curb cuts with full east-west and north-south access at the traffic signal interchange and is adjacent to the County College of Morris.
